Yet another survival horror masterpiece by Capcom, Haunting Ground is just another in the horror survival franchise. The game focuses on a young girl named Fiona (Sherk!?) and her dog Hewie. Now if you have played the Resident Evil franchise then you’ll be in for a nice little surprise. When you start to play this game, you will notice it is a lot like the Res. Evil game, but it’s also different. You see unlike the Resident Evil games, instead of fighting your enemies, you are supposed to run from them, and avoid confrontation. Much like the game Clock Tower, (another Capcom masterpiece), you can hide from your assailants in places that are unknown to them.
Though Capcom has made some good games, it has also had it’s downs. To put if lightly, with Capcom, it’s either a flop or it’s not. (There’s never been an in between that I’ve seen). So in my opinion this game is definitely not a flop. Due to it’s lack of combat though, I would have to take points off my rating. So that would mean the Haunting Ground gets a 6.5 out of 10.
